It’s the middle of summer and yet Oktoberfest brews are already arriving at the local beer emporiums. We here at 365Brew wanted to give you some takes on 5 Summer Beers to consider trying out, before they are all gone. We will be using a scale of 1-5 pints. “5 pints” being the highest.
This beer comes in bottles and cans. This summer I’ve seen it most often in 12 packs of cans. It is a great beer to drink while sitting by the pool, out on the lake or just hanging out in the backyard playing horseshoes.
I give this a “3.5 pints” rating.
A WordPress blog postThis beer comes in bomber bottles. It’s a great brew to share with a friend or two on a hot summer evening while sitting outside on the patio. I strongly recommend pouring this beer into a glass, as it needs to breathe a bit for best flavor.
I give this a “4.5 pints” rating.
A WordPress blog postI have only seen this beer in 6 packs of bottles. It is a very nice summer brew and comes in at $6.99 which is quite a steal for a Schlafly 6 pack. It’s very easy to drink, goes great in a coozie while playing croquet or having a BBQ.
I give this a “4 pints” rating.
A WordPress blog postI have only seen this in 6 packs of cans. I think Two Brothers was trying to think outside of the box when they decided to make this a summer seasonal. The beer is light enough I suppose, but I wasn’t a huge fan.
I give this a “2 pints” rating.
A WordPress blog postThis comes in large 750ml bomber bottles and you can also find it in 375ml bottles. This beer could be claimed as the original summer beer. It’s not a beer for my palate. But I respect the old school style and think it’s definitely worth trying out.
I give this a “2.5 pints” rating.
